Dolmio had been bringing families together for over 30 years, but they were facing a problem – families were more disconnected and distracted than ever.

We set out to bring back family dinner time by creating the Dolmio Pepper Hacker.

The pepper hacker contained hidden custom software that mimics the household WiFi network. This tricks smart devices within the home to disconnect from the WiFi network and connect to the pepper hackers built in WiFi chip blocking all out going data.

This ingenious piece of tech hidden inside a pepper mill shut down TVs, WiFi and mobile devices, turning dinnertime with the family, back into family dinnertime.
